IVA, speedometer conversion & DVLA registration

Vehicles less than ten years old that were never sold new in the EU or UK usually need an Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) test before they can be registered. Older vehicles are generally exempt. We prepare the car for the test — typically a mph speedometer conversion, a rear fog lamp and headlamp aim adjustment — and book and attend the test on your behalf.
With the IVA certificate (or age exemption), the NOVA reference and the Japanese export certificate translated, we submit the V55/5 application to the DVLA, pay the first registration fee and road tax, and collect the V5C and number plates. The car is then ready to drive.
